As early as medically safe. Early rehabilitation improves outcomes, but meaningful gains are possible even months or years after a stroke.
Recovery is different for every patient. Most programs run for several weeks to months with regular reassessment of progress.
Usually 4 to 6 sessions a week initially, with a home exercise plan to support progress between visits.
